Terms of Service
Last updated September 4, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Tideoo ("Tideoo", "we", "us"), operator of the invoicing, payment-tracking and client-credit platform available at tideoo.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current information about yourself and your business and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial for a one-time $3 charge. Your payment card is verified at signup, and when the trial ends your plan continues at the regular price unless you cancel first.
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, and every plan includes a set number of seats (1 on Solo, 3 on Pro and 10 on Business). Extra seats can be added to Pro and Business at the per-seat price shown at checkout and are billed on the same cycle.
- Lifetime plans are a one-time payment for the plan's bundled seats. They do not renew, do not expire and do not include extra seats.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and the Service remains available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply only to billing cycles that start after the change takes effect.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
60-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with Tideoo, contact us within 60 days of a subscription charge — including the $3 trial charge — and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked.
This guarantee covers fees you paid us for your own subscription. It does not cover amounts your clients paid you: Tideoo tracks payments but does not process, hold or refund client funds, and any refund of a client payment is arranged directly between you and your client. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to invoice for work actually performed or goods actually provided.
- Do not use Tideoo to issue fraudulent invoices, evade taxes, launder money, or misrepresent your identity or your clients' identities.
- Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, scrape it, or interfere with its operation or other users.
- Do not resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.
5. Your content and client data
You keep ownership of the invoices, client records, projects, time entries, expenses and other data you create or upload ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store and process Your Data solely to provide and support the Service.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the invoices and records you create, and for obtaining any consents required from the clients whose information you store in Tideoo.
6. Service availability and changes
We work hard to keep Tideoo available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Service over time, and will give reasonable advance notice of material adverse changes where practical. Features in beta may change or be withdrawn.
7. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create legal risk, or remain unpaid after repeated reminders.
- When an account is closed, your right to use the Service ends. We will make reasonable efforts to let you export Your Data for 30 days afterwards.
- Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive.
8. Disclaimers
Tideoo is a bookkeeping and invoicing tool, not a source of accounting, tax, legal or financial advice. Currency conversions and exchange rates shown in the Service are informational and may differ from the rates applied by your bank or payment provider. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tideoo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
